This tutorial explains how to set up your iPhone or iPad to connect to your MET Connect™ VHUB.
1. Open Settings App
2. Go to VPN and choose Add VPN Configuration…
(If VPN Option doesn’t appear, go to General > VPN)
3. L2TP should be selected
4. Enter the following details:
Description: <The name of your VHUB>
Server: <provided to you in setup ticket instructions>
Account:< username you created from within portal> @<YOUR VHUB NAME>
e.g. jsmith@MYVHUB
RSA SecurID: leave this off
Password: < password you set from within MET Connect Portal>
Secret: <provided to you in setup ticket instructions>
5. press Save
6. Select your newly created VHUB connection and flick the switch on.
When your device successfully connects, you'll notice a VPN logo on the top part of the screen
You're now connected into your remote network. For example, You can now use a VNC program to remotely control your HMI's or use any other program you'd like to control a device on your network.
Make sure to return to the VPN menu to disconnect the session when you're finished.
